TINAPA - CUSTOMS SYNERGY IN MOTION

Tinapa Free Zone & Resort played host to ACG S.K. Dangladima, Assistant Comptroller General of Customs (Zone C), in a strategic visit aimed at strengthening collaboration between Customs and Free Zone Management. 

The delegation was received by Dr. Francis Ekom, General Manager of Tinapa, who led discussions on the operational bottlenecks facing Free Zone Enterprises—particularly the limitations of the B’Odogwu Platform, which is yet to be fully adapted to Free Zone processes.

Also present were:

– Hajiya Binta Saeed, Director at NEPZA in charge of the Calabar Free Trade Zone.

– Comptroller C.G. Ogbonna, Customs Area Comptroller for Cross River and Akwa Ibom States.

The ACG assured that the concerns would be escalated for immediate technical resolution. The visit marks a key step in Tinapa’s repositioning as a dynamic, investor-ready Free Zone championing reform and inter-agency synergy.
